Description
Your tasks will include development of construction plans of the hull, scantling calculations according to the Class Rules, FEM structural analysis of a ship structure (both global and local); evaluation of necessary modifications of a ship in case of new utilization of the ship; naval architectural calculations of existing ships for a case of a heavy lift operation or other unique operations. FEM analysis is typically carried out using ANSYS. Drafting will be done with AutoCad and Nupas-Cadmatic.
Requirements
You have a Master of Science in Marine Technology.
Because of the international character of our organisation good command of English, oral and written, is necessary.
You have a strong, pro-active focus and a problem solving competency. You have at least seven years of relevant working experience. In case of extensive experience MSc is not required.
