Responsibilities / result areas:
You are responsible for managing the procurement department and further professionalize of the procurement processes. Huisman has set a target of a number of processes, such as procurement, to maximize benefit, suppliers and supply relationships. The procurement manager works with the Management of procurement strategy. Additionally, you are responsible for the tactical and operational implementation.

Tasks:
• Create support for the department of procurement and purchasing processes within the organization.
• Achieve synergy with the logistics and planning departments.
• The elaboration and implementation and monitoring of the procurement.
• Stakeout structure of the Procurement Division
• Motivating and effectively managing the employers of the Procurement Division.
• Initiate and ensure growth of procurement to strategic and tactical levels.
• Motivating and managing the staff of the procurement department.
• Establish and monitor the procurement


Candidate Profile:

You have a higher education in a technical area, combined with an education NEVI 1 and 2 or equivalent like business administration. You have at least 5 years working experience in a similar position. A good knowledge of ERP systems and controlling. You have good oral and written communicative skills, both in Dutch and in English.

You have affinity with engineering and steel. You are strategic, entrepreneurial and a builder.
