For the extension of our Mechanical Engineering Department in Enschede we are looking for Senior Structural Engineers.

As a Senior Structural Engineer you also advise and verify the work of the Design Engineers. You calculate constructions and the associated driving mechanisms with the help of manual calculations and finite element calculations (Ansys/Femap). Your specific tasks include calculating the Design Engineers' designs. You also account for these calculations in a design report. You optimize the basic and detail designs in cooperation with the designers. In addition, you write manual texts and formulate purchase orders. Finally, you provide the Design Engineers with the right calculation methodologies.

You have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering with sufficient insight into dynamic calculations to be able to calculate the associated driving mechanisms as well. Dynamics, mechanics, stiffness and strength are a piece of cake for you. In addition you have several years of relevant work experience.
