 
EstimatorThe NetherlandsMay 24, 2010The Sales Department is responsible for the world wide sales of the Huisman drilling, pipelay and crane projects. Estimating is a part of this department with a major role in the sales stage.
As Estimator you will be independently responsible for project estimating. You will make estimations based on concept designs of all materials, man and machine hours, subcontracting, purchase parts and services. In order to do so, you will have frequent contact with colleagues in other departments as, amongst others, Sales, Concept Engineering, Production, Hydraulics and Electrical.
You have a higher education (HTS/TU) in, for example, Mechanical, Nautical or Aerospace Engineering. Some experience in a similar role, for example in machine building or the offshore industry is desirable but not essential. You are able to preview and assess all aspects of a project in order to create a realistic estimate.
