In the first years as a Business Analyst your activities will mainly be focused on ERP. In addition, you will be concerned with non-engineering processes, while also functioning as a sparring partner and backup for colleagues concentrating on engineering processes.
Your activities will include:
- Performing a bridging function between business and ICT for both new and existing applications and processes
- Reviewing and analysing the efficacy and efficiency of existing systems/processes/organisations and developing strategies for further improvement
- Providing management and decision-makers with impact analysis and tactical and strategic advice
- Applying change management skills which will result in an accepted and popular transition to adapted and sometimes completely re-designed business processes
- Monitoring trends and recent business and systems technologies and functioning as knowledge base for the company’s business and IT strategy
Requirements
You should have completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Management or similar. You should also have a minimum of 10 years’ work experience, 5 of which should be in a similar role. In addition you are expected to have a thorough understanding of ERP applications, supply chain and production processes (Lean/Six Sigma, purchasing, MRP, work preparation, logistics and inventory management) and change management. Finally, international experience within an industrial production environment or in the maritime/offshore sector is a must, as is a good command of Dutch and English.
