Description
As a Commissioning Engineer you perform all activities necessary to create a safe test environment. You test and commission new installations before they are delivered to the customer. If possible, we test these installations on our quay in Schiedam, but sometimes we do this at the customer's location, anywhere in the world. During the commissioning and testing period you participate in the project meetings, and you set up a planning for the activities. If necessary you ask for assistance from other departments and you provide them with the information they need. In this role you work closely with the department Service Engineering. Also inform your Project Manager on the commissioning and testing activitie.
Requirements
You have good knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software and hydraulics or you are willing to learn more about it. You have completed a HBO Education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Nautical College. Experience as an engineer is a major bonus. For this senior role, a minimum of 5 years relevant (read: same) working experience is required. The job requires a flexible disposition. Work at the customer's location anywhere in the world over a period of up to 4 or 5 weeks should be no problem. Due to the nature of our products, you have a good head for heights, and you are in good health.
