Producer of hoisting equipment for cargo vessels Huisman - founded in 1929 -and engineering company Itrec - founded in 1979 - merged into one company in 1982. Since then, we offer tailor made solutions from concept to commissioning.
In the entire work process, our international departments work closely together. Based on the client's requirements, our concepts departments develop a concept. Further engineering is done in basic and detailed designs, from which workshop drawings are made. These workshop drawings find their way to our factories in the Czech Republic, China or Schiedam, where they are assembled to the final product. The end product is subsequently installed onboard the vessel at the production factory and subjected to final testing. Once it receives the 'green light', it is handed over to the client.
