Firms in the US and the UK have notified us that they received emails, supposedly from Huisman Equipment BV employees to retain them with regards to making a large commercial purchase.

Enhanced Casing Installation (ECI), a product of Huisman Well Technology, is nominated for the European Geothermal Innovation Award 2017. The European Geothermal Innovation Award is given to companies which have made an outstanding contribution towards the field of geothermal energy in the form of innovative products, scientific research or project initiatives.

Late December 2016 Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, and Oceana Shipyard, part of CBO group, signed a contract for the delivery of two additional anchor handling and towing winch packages for two new Havyard 843 AHTS vessels. These two winch packages are additional to the 2015 CBO order for four anchor handling and towing winch packages of which the first system has been delivered to CBO in November 2016. Similar to the 2015 order, these two winch packages will be built at Huisman’s production facility in Navegantes, Brazil. Delivery is scheduled for Q1 2018. The winches will be delivered with 50% Brazilian content.

2016年10月初，作为全球起重机、钻井及海底解决方案专家，豪氏威马与日本Marine United Corporation和新加坡Jurong船厂正式签署合同，分别为其交付一台800mt基座式起重机（PMC）及一台100mt基座式深海起重机（PMOC）。两台起重机将在豪氏威马中国建造，800mt基座式起重机计划于  2018年4月交付，100mt基座式深海起重机计划于2018年3月交付。

作为全球领先的起重、钻井及海上工程解决方案的专家，豪氏威马与几大主要海上工程公司、海上运输及海上风电安装承包商新签订了总价约3亿欧元的起重机合同： 

•  BigLift Shipping订制的2台900mt重型桅杆式起重机；
• Van Oord订制的1台1,600mt绕桩式起重机；
• OOS International订制的4台2,200mt深水桅杆式起重机；
• Boskalis订制的1台3,000mt深水桅杆式起重机；
• Allseas订制的1台5,000mt盆座式起重机。 

以上起重机将在豪氏威马位于荷兰、捷克及中国的生产基地联合建造。预计分别于2017年底、2018年及2019年交付。

2016年7月21日，豪氏威马宣布将其持有的Tocardo国际有限公司的大部分股份出售给加拿大Tribute Resources公司，Tocardo主要业务为潮汐及河流发电。这是基于豪氏威马剥离非主营业务的战略而做出的决定。

2016年5月25日，全球起重设备、钻井设备和水下解决方案等领域的专家——豪氏威马的新加坡销售及服务中心推出了新式400吨海上桅杆式起重机模拟器。 该起重机模拟器将用于常规及特定的培训，以及技术专家们研究400吨海上桅杆式起重机或豪氏威马的其他类型起重机。

2015年12月21日，作为全球起重、钻井和海底解决方案领域的专家，豪氏威马在其中国工厂和来自中海油及其下属海油工程公司的代表共同见证了325吨垂直软铺系统的开工仪式。这将是中国国内第一台深水软管铺设系统。本铺管塔将安装在海洋工程船——海洋石油286号上，与之前已交付的豪氏威马400吨桅杆式起重机相呼应，该船将成为最有效率和能力的深水工程施工船。

Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, celebrated the delivery of the 100^th Chinese built crane at their production facility in Zhangzhou, China. The 100 cranes have a total lifting capacity of 65,000mt. The 100^th crane is a 1,500mt Heavy Lift Mast Crane for Jumbo’s ‘Fairmaster’. The celebrated crane is one of a set of two 1,500mt cranes, giving the vessel a dual lift capacity of up to 3,000mt. The delivery of the 100^th crane signifies a major milestone for Huisman China and proves the success of the Chinese Huisman production facility.

Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, held a steel cutting ceremony together with Heerema for the two Heerema 10,000mt Tub Mounted Cranes at their facility in China. These world’s largest cranes will be installed onboard Heerema’s new semi-submersible crane vessel. The steel cutting event signifies a major milestone for the project to proceed to its construction phase to meet the delivery schedule by the end of 2018.

The Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel “Skandi Africa” was yesterday awarded the prestigious “Ship of the Year” award, instituted by Nordic shipping magazine, Skipsrevyen. The vessel is currently at the Huisman Schiedam quay for final outfitting.

Huisman and the management of Fistuca BV announced today that agreement has been reached on the participation of Huisman as shareholder and investor in Fistuca BV.

On Saturday 25 April 2015, Jumbo Kinetic set a new heavy lift record by lifting 3,000t during the test lift at the Huisman production facility in Zhangzhou, China. The completion of the test lift marks the successful delivery of a new generation heavy lift vessels.

For the third year in a row, Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling, and subsea solutions, was acclaimed most successful Dutch manufacturing company in Management Team’s Manufacturing Industry Top100.

On Thursday 16 April, Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, officially opened her new production facility in Navegantes, Santa Catarina state, in the south of Brazil. The facility is used for the manufacturing of offshore equipment for the Brazilian market. It is located along the Itajai-Açu river, enabling fast installation of Huisman equipment onboard sea going vessels. The new Huisman production facility was officially opened by Mrs Cristina Pinho, Executive Manager E&P Services at Petrobras.

In April 2015, Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, started with the final factory acceptance testing of its first 900mt Rope Luffing Knuckle Boom Crane, now called the ‘Hybrid Boom Crane’, at the quayside of the Huisman China Production facility in Zhangzhou. The crane was fully assembled in the main assembly hall and upended by Huisman’s 2,400mt Quayside Crane. In the coming weeks, the crane will undergo an intensive factory acceptance testing program, after which it will be shipped to Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan, South Korea. The crane will then be installed, commissioned and tested on board Subsea 7’s Seven Arctic. 

On Wednesday 18 February 2015, the Huisman Rope Luffing Knuckle Boom Crane has been awarded the Innovation of the Year award during the Annual Offshore Support Journal Awards 2015. The new hybrid crane is recognized to provide a significant innovation on the design, build and operational aspects of offshore support vessels.

In January 2015, Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, and Brazilian shipping company and shipyard group Grupo CBO, signed a contract for the delivery of four anchor handling and towing winch packages for four new Havyard 843 AHTS vessels. The winch packages will be built by Huisman’s new production facility in Navegantes, Brazil, and delivery is planned for 2016 and 2017. The winches will be delivered with 50% Brazilian content. The Havyard designed 843 AHTS vessels will be built by Estaleiro Aliança (2x) and Estaleiro Oceana (2x).

In December 2014, Huisman, the worldwide specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, secured a contract from COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard for the delivery of four customized 400mt Rope Luffing Knuckle Boom Cranes and two 100mt Knuckle Boom Cranes onboard four new subsea support vessels (SSVs) for Maersk Supply Service. The first vessels, Marin Teknikk design MT 6027, are scheduled for delivery in Q4 2016. In addition to Huisman’s long track record as a reliable and innovative subsea crane supplier, Maersk Supply Service selected Huisman due to the benefits offered by this new crane type, and the partnership that developed between the companies which led to a customized crane design.

On Wednesday 5 November 2014, the “Noble Bully II” was awarded by Shell with this year’s Global Floating Rig of the Year award, recognizing her as the best performing floating rig for Shell worldwide in 2014. “Noble Bully I” was awarded with the same award in 2013. Both ‘Noble Bully’ drillships feature the Huisman Dual Multi Purpose Tower.

For the second year in a row, Huisman is awarded most successful Dutch manufacturing company. On behalf of Huisman, the award was collected on Wednesday 21 May by COO Dirk Leenheer.

The company name of Huisman's production facility and office in China has officially been changed from Fujian Huisman Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd  to Huisman (China) Co., Ltd
