The JV will execute all subsurface works for the completion of the geothermal well and the following air lift well test. The drilling works will be executed by utilizing the Huisman LOC 400 drilling rig - a fully containerized modular rig with a very small footprint, outfitted with a highly automated pipe-handler and rig floor. The focus of Züblin Ground Engineering will be on the overall project management and coordination of all drilling and completion service companies.

The directional controlled vertical well is planned to be drilled up to a depth of 2610 m to 2750 m in order to exploit the Upper Malm reservoir. The abandonment of the old well TH3 and the conductor installation for the new well have already been performed by Züblin earlier this year.
